The history of the factory WALTER
The factory Walter was founded by Władysław Chrobak in 1992 in the town of Pustyny in southeastern Poland. Since the beginning of its activity, the factory has been engaged in woodworking and manufactured equipment to meet its own needs in primary wood sawing machinery. But the growth in demand on the market of wood processing equipment has led to the need to expand production capacity. Own construction and manufacturing of machines have become a solid foundation for the further development of the factory.
All machines produced by the factory Walter are developed by its own construction department. The created models of machines are constantly being improved and modernized in accordance with modern trends in European sawmilling machinery building.
The factory Walter is a complete cycle enterprise: from the production of frames, processing of the main parts, fixing, assembly, and ending with testing them in action, parameter setting and delivery.The Walter factory is not limited to the production of individual woodworking machines, and has been producing complete sawmill lines for a long time. For its successful activities in this direction, the Walter factory has received attestation and certificates from the European Union for the entire range of products.
Woodworking machinery production
The manufacturing equipment of the factory is one of the most innovative. Almost all stages of metal processing are carried out on high-precision and technological Japanese machines MAZAK, the leader in the global market for metal-plastic cutting equipment. Each of the operators working on this equipment is required to be trained at the manufacturing plant in Japan. The factory Walter has in its production capacities an automated set of manufacturing equipment that allows to completely eliminate an influence of the notorious human factor on the quality of final product. With an accuracy of 1-2 microns, it produces both machine elements and blanks for circular saws with almost zero defects.The final and obligatory stage of machinery production is testing all machines in action before they are sent to customers. This concerns not only single machines, but also complex sawmill lines for lumber prdoduction.For many years, the factory has its own sawmill and lumber production. The running-in of our own machines at the operating sawmill allows us to constantly improve the manufactured equipment. In addition, all customers have a unique opportunity to see in action almost the entire range of machines manufactured by the Walter factory directly on the plant. At present, the Walter factory is one of the largest companies in Europe producing woodworking machines for the sawmill, pallet and woodworking industry.
Circular saw blades production
Since 2007 the Walter factory has been producing circular saw blades that are not inferior in quality to the world market leaders. All manufactured saws, as well as machines, have a European quality certificates, and are also regularly tested.Thousands of saw blades are made every week at the Walter factory, which go to woodworking companies in the pallet and sawmill industry all over the world.
